I will never forget the vision God put in my heart at the airport at Hyderabad in January 1985 thirty three and a half years ago at the times of writing, that Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth. The Word of God proclaims it, and it is wonderful when it comes as a Rhema Word to your heart.

As my Missions Ministry has been predominantly in Asia, and the difficulty of one’s mind taking in every nation of the world, my dream and vision relates very much to East Asia  and the many ministries I have  for years connected with and  continue  to relate  and pray for too right up until this very day.

Many Australians look with fear at China because of it’s massive growth and  economic develop, and now its encroachment into the South China Sea, and the associated islands. This does not concern me much, but I do look at the fast growing church in that nation, statistics would suggest the church there will be greater than the U.S.A. soon, and therefore the largest Christian Church in the world. I took a train out of Hong Kong one day, and went to a nearby Economic Zone in China, just to simply be able to say I have entered China.

I am praying that the Church in China which has so grown because of prayer and persecution will not only have a vision of “Back to Jerusalem” but will give serious thought to its three “daughters” Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan and believe that the “River of revival” will flow into these Islands and onto the rest of East Asia.

Again you will have read of my experience in Northern Thailand as I looked into Myanmar and the burden that came for  that nation plus the burden that dramatically increased on my return home for the three Indo China nations of Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam. I see by  faith and  in the Spirit a river beginning to flow from China, and touching these four nations so crippled for many hundreds of years by Buddhism and Communistic type governments. There are regular reports of increased blessing in these for nations, may it continue.

I am in regular contact with Ministries in all these four nations, and even in Laos and Vietnam which is officially closed to Missions there is an increasing tide of blessing.

Right in the north of Thailand in Chiang Mei I have a spiritual son, who is building a great work for God, (in the North of Thailand almost 1% are Christian, only half % in the rest of the nation, I see the river flowing, and God using His servants  (again some dear friends I pray daily for) in Bangkok, and onto Pattaya & Phuket and into the South where there are growing churches (despite the additional problem of Muslims in this area). If the once Buddhist nation of South Korea which is now at least 50% Christian can see revival, so can Thailand, and millions of blind Thai eyes are going to be opened to Jesus as the Son of God and Saviour of mankind.

I see the river flowing into Malaysia, another dear brother I pray for daily lives in Sitiawan in the North  is building a great work for God. There has been tremendous answers to prayer in this nation. One political party has held sway since independence were defeated after much concentrated prayer,(over a number of years including 24 hour prayer meetings) and the positive signs for the Church and the nation are  exciting and encouraging. I see the river flowing down to Kuala Lumpur/Petayling Jaya where many dear friends are serving the Lord and believing for revival. Then onto Seramban and Melaka where I again have some very dear friends who are building great churches for the Lord. Then onto Singapore (the Antioch of Asia) our second home, there are a number of brothers I am praying for daily who are longing to plunge into the river.

Then the river is flowing and increasing in the nation of Indonesia, and many Javanese & Sumatrans and Chinese and every other ethnic group are coming to Christ. Indonesia may have the largest Muslim population within its borders, but the nation’s constitution gives perfect liberty to every Christian group and the signs are everywhere of the blessing and increase of the Lord upon the nation.

Then onto the largest Island nation in the world AUSTRALIA,it was prophesied by Smith Wigglesworth that we would be the last nation to see revival. It isn’t apparent yet, but I see it in the Spirit, the river of revival will flow across our great nation. Australia is virtually the uttermost parts of the world from Jerusalem, but it will happen, I trust I will be alive to see it and be a part of it. If that is not in the Lord’s plan then I will every day until my dying breath be praying and declaring  this last day outpouring that will cause millions of Australians to bow the knee and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord Amen

As I was meditating this morning on the Lord’s goodness and blessing on my life I was reminded of the words of Abraham’s servant Eliezer found in Genesis 24:27 KJV And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I BEING IN THE WAY THE LORD LED ME to the house of my master’s brethren. I have highlighted the words that stood out in my mind. He was instrumental in bringing back Rebekah to be Isaac’s wife as Abraham had requested.

I think there is a lot we can learn from Eliezer’s life, I trust this simple blog may be a blessing to you.

  1. He WAS A MAN OF PRAYER as clearly indicated in verse 24. If we want the Lord to lead us, we must seek His guidance, and develop an intimate relationship with the Lord in prayer and in the Word of God, and this certainly helps us to be able to clearly hear His voice speaking to us which means:
  2. HE WAS OBEDIENT TO HIS MASTER. We must learn to live the surrendered life and walk in obedience to the Lord.

So we must maintain an attitude of repentance. seeking to regularly clear the decks of any unconfessed sin, and reaffirming Christ’s Lordship over our lives. This keeps our spiritual ears clear and clean to hear God’s voice speaking to us.

Verse 2 in Genesis chapter 24 tells us HE WAS A SON OF THE HOUSE, this suggests to me, we need to be committed to a local church and submitted to the leadership of that church. Eliezer made an oath to Abraham that he would get a bride for Isaac,

Verse 12 tells us Eliezer asked for the Lord’s SUCCESS to fulfil his oath, We are reminded by James we “have not because we ask not”, and that we need to ask and keep on asking, and expect God to answer our prayer.

This caused me afresh to see the Lord’s leading over all my Christian life of some 67+ years, and the stories truly would fill a book, but especially these last few years, the Lord has been so good to me, His blessings are so wonderful and so undeserved, His Word has become so real to me, there have been so many Rhema Words, that have changed the course of my life, His presence has been so manifestly obvious. The opportunity to minister to thousands in preaching and teaching and the many individual sons I have been able to invest in to be MEN OF THE WAY.

I am not suggesting I have not strayed away from the WAY sometimes, but the Lord has remained EVER FAITHFUL, so I see an important key here, if I want to continue to see the Lord to lead me and bless me, I have to be in the WAY.

Over the weekend the Lord reminded me of some precious truths that are so important to the Christian. My readers know how committed I am to what I call Biblical Discipleship which I define as “Walking with a new Believer (for as long as it takes) until living as a Christian is a lifestyle”. This not only includes developing an intimate relationship with the Lord in prayer and the Word of God, and for example protecting our mind (which is the battlefield of the soul), but also sharing with the new Believer the glorious inheritance they have in Christ, again walking with them until the information becomes revelation and constantly working in their life. You might say well that will be a lengthy process, sadly it will even be longer without discipleship, tell me “How long is it since you have heard a series of teaching or preaching on the Believer’s Inheritance ??” I cannot remember to be honest. When a person cones to Christ and the Holy Spirit comes into his life and intuitively the new Believer often experiences revelation, but for many it is a very slow haul with many defeats and dissapointments, and some Believers never really find out what their inheritance is.

A Disciplemaker is like a lawyer who sits down with you and READS THE WILL to you, it is a lengthy and full document, and he then sees that you practically receive and enjoy all your inheritance. The Apostle Peter tells us in 2 Peter 1:3 NLT By his divine power, God has given us EVERYTHING we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. This blog will only share a small amount that is in the will, but I trust it will give you a taste to hear and read the Will (The Bible) for yourself to see what all that has your name on it.

The first thought is this, I AM NO LONGER AN ORPHAN BUT A SON

Romans 8: 14-17 AMP For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.

As a born again believer we have all the benefits of being a son of God from the moment we were adopted into God’s family (even joint-heirs with Jesus). Start to meditate on this glorious fact.

The second thought is this I AM NO LONGER A PAUPER BUT A PRINCE. Before we came to Christ we were beggars with nothing, but Peter tells us in 1 Peter 2:9 NLT for you are a chosen people. You are ROYAL PRIESTS, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. John expresses it this way in Revelation 1:6 NKJV He has made us a KINGS AND PRIESTS for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. Not only are we now part of God’s royal family, but as Priests we have complete, and constant and perfect ACCESS into the presence of God Eph.2:18 AMP For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him]. Begin to meditate on this truth.

The third thought is this I AM NO LONGER A SLAVE BUT A FREE MAN. John 8:38 NLT if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. When we simply read these various verses mentioned here in this blog it is simply information, but as a Disciplemaker walks with you, then you begin to see this is not just your POSITION, but it can and must be your DAILY EXPERIENCE. When the slaves were set free in the U.S. many could not believe it, and lived with a slave mentality until they died. Sadly, many Believers live in defeat because they do not know what is written in the will for them.

So May I ask you, Are you an orphan or a Son?

Are you a pauper or a Prince?

Are you a slave or a Free man?

To those I disciple I give the below document, which I entitle the “Reading of the Will” and encourage them to read and meditate on each of these verses regarding all these inheritance truths and let the Word become a personal Rhema Word to you. You will move to a new level of victory and relationship with the Lord. Please respond with your comments.

I sent out a small set of survey questions on Discipleship & Mentoring, and received an excellent numerical response. Sadly, the majority see these things areas as being handled in a class situation or simply by observation of others. I guess I should not have been surprised, as this seems to be the common practice in most places. I am so aware of Leaders responses “That I am just to busy”, and I can appreciate that, so what is the answer? I believe the Scriptures teach we are to raise up a team of DISCIPLEMAKERS within the local church who will walk with a new Believer (for as long as it takes) until being a Christian has become a lifestyle.

I was encouraged by those who wrote and said DISCIPLESHIP MUST HAVE A ONE ON ONE COMPONENT, many of them I know and clearly see the results of this component in their lives.

The reality is if we want quality disciples and effective quality Leaders there must be a ONE ON ONE COMPONENT. Although we are aware of the negatives that can flow from social media, we can now do much of this via video on WhatsApp and other apps. I am personally meeting weekly with a young man in Jakarta, and another in Malaysia via these means. We can regularly message through SMS and again other apps to keep encouraging the new Believer.

I was initially discouraged when I received so many responses that did not include this component, and I wondered if I was a heretic, but I reject those thoughts and will continue going down this path personally, and praying others will also see this important truth.

There is no doubt that 2019 is going to be an exciting year of blessing and increase, let us press on and in to the purposes of God for us and the Church.

I have the privilege of meeting regularly with a young man who has an awesome call of God on his life, and such a desire to live for God and serve Him wholeheartedly. Our conversations flow like a river, and I am mutually blessed in all our sharing together. Lat time we met we talked about how important it is to seek to maintain the Joy of the Lord in our lives or quickly see it restored. We know when we fail the Lord we lose our joy, and need to pray like King David in Psalm 51:12 NKJV Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, David had to first REPENT and ask the Lord’s forgiveness for his sins, and then the joy flowed back into his life.

The other area especially where we can lose our joy is when people (and sadly so often Christians) say and do things that can hurt us deeply. I quoted yesterday Rom. 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. So nothing happens by chance in our lives, but comes with the Lord’s permission so that a work of Grace can take place in our lives. The Christian life is a no win situation we have to learn to lay down and die, despite the unjust unrighteous things that are said and done to us. We know that saying for example “That if we harbour unforgiveness in our hearts it is like taking poison and hoping the other person would die”. WE ARE ALWAYS THE LOSER!!

SO WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO? Here are some keys for you.

Psalm 4:5 NKJV Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. The Message expresses it this way Build your case before God and wait for His verdict. In other words when someone says or does something unrighteous to you, you don’t do as our sinful nature wants us to and lash out, but we make a sacrifice (something that really costs us) and with the Lord’s help we respond in a righteous way, and leave the matter in the Lord’s hands.

Romans 5:5 NKJV The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. When we are born again the love of God flows into our heart and it is up to us to let it keep FLOWING, Isaiah knew this and he says in 12:3 NKJV Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation. By a daily act of our will we must maintain that attitude of repentance (turning around and choosing to the let the joy flow (despite how emotions may feel) why? Gal. 5:22 NKJV tells us But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. We must daily choose to let the Fruit of the Spirit grow in our lives.

The Scriptures tell us 1 Kings 15:5 NKJV Because David did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, and had not turned aside from anything that He commanded him ALL the days of his life, except in the matter of Uriah the Hittite. David had learnt a bitter lesson, and with the Lord’s enabling he maintained a joy filled life. He wrote in Psalm 16:11 NKJV You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fulness of JOY; at your righth and are pleasures for evermore.

I said sometimes despite what our emotions tell us we must still walk in joy, and may have to do what King David said in Psalm 5:11 NKJV But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever SHOUT FOR JOY, because You defend them, let those who love your name be JOYFUL in You.
In Psalm 47:1 NKJV David says Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph! There may be times when you have to CLAP AND SHOUT and let the joy flow.

I am not saying we must live in an emotional high, but as we walk before the Lord with no unconfessed sin including unforgiveness in our hearts for others, we can know that deep sweet joy and declare with Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The above is not just words, but can be THE NORMAL CHRISTIAN LIFE FOR THE BELIEVER. Lord help us to walk in Joy amen.

I find it hard to believe this is my 700th blog, I give the Lord all the glory for the privilege of sharing the Word of God through this medium, and that literally hundreds read my blog from many nations, many I do not know personally, I do trust every blog has been a means of blessing, encouragement and challenge.

I have been on an interesting journey these last few months, and you will have picked up some snippets in some of my recent blogs. I went through a period where the presence of God was so tangible in my life I was at times overwhelmed. One particular prayer I have been praying much is based on 1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been praying the Lord would do a deeper work of grace in my life. I also decided to take King David’s word seriously and practically in Psalm 100:4 NKJV I looked on the brazen altar and thanked God for Jesus being the Lamb of God who shed His blood for me, then I would look on the brazen laver, and thank God for the washing cleansing ministry of the Rhema Word. then go in and praise God for the Golden lampstand, which to me speaks of the Holy Spirit’s illumination on the Word, and the refining fire ministry. I am so thankful for the Blood of Jesus, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit to do a work of Sanctification in me. I would then go on through the veil past the Table of Incense (Prayer), into the Holy of Holies and stand in the glory

In hindsight I should have been more aware that the Lord was preparing me as a result of my constant prayer, and His strong presence in my life. As I have written previously I believe I came under attack from the evil one, and sadly was not winning. It reminded me of Job’s experience, there seems that there was a fence (protection) around him, and the enemy could not touch him, but God said, I will take some of the fence down, and although Job suffered he came through victoriously. The Lord had to remind me of some truths like Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. The Lord had permitted the experience, not only in answer to my prayer to live a holy sanctified life, but because He loved me. Hebrews 12:5-8 NKJV And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

The Holy Spirit gave me the grace and strength to REPENT, and the JOY & PEACE flooded back into my heart. I am reminded of Mother Basilea Schlink’s book “Repentance -The Joy filled life”.

It has been a painful lesson, which I thought I knew but needed to be painfully reminded of what I must do continually if I am to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In the midst of all the above I had a nasty fall, which really shook me up, I was reminded of the words of Charles Spurgeon who said

I HAVE LEARNED TO KISS THE WAVE THAT SLAMS ME INTO THE ROCK OF AGES, God used the fall very much to make me see that what was going on was His DEALINGS IN MY LIFE, He loves me so much, and so wants me to be more like Jesus in every way.

It is a daily lesson I must continue to learn, I trust the above may bless you and encourage you, remember GOD IS SOVEREIGN, NOTHING CAN TOUCH OUR LIVES WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION, and then it is because He loves us He wants us to embrace personally and practically the glorious inheritance He has for us now, so we can live holy, victorious pure lives before Him NOW. amen.

I have been thinking much about the word EDIFY which is used quite a number of times in the New Testament both in relation to the individual and the Church. It has some interesting shades of meaning which are all very related. The word means to BUILD UP, TO ENBOLDEN, TO UPLIFT.

I want to ask what is really a silly question can we be built up too much, and I am sure the answer is NO, Can the Church be built up too much again the answer is NO.

So in relation to the Church may we SAY & DO only those things that build up and strengthen the Church, and individuals amen.

In relation to the individual what does the Bible say? Jude 20 NKJV expresses it this way But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. What does it mean, it must include believing ands confessing what God’s Word says about every situation, and not determine the situation by what we see with our natural eyes and ears. What is praying in the Holy Ghost ? (Holy Spirit). If you are a CONTINUALIST you believe that when you were born again the Holy Spirit came into your life, and as you learned to surrender yourself to Him more and more you are introduced to the Gifts of the Holy Spirit which includes the privilege of having a prayer language (speaking in tongues) Paul tells us in 1 Cor. 14:4 NKJV He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, (the Church is only edified when the message in tongues is interpreted or a prophecy spoked out in the venacular). So Paul is talkng the PERSONAL & PRIVATE USE OF THE PRAYER LANGUAGE the Believer is edified, and his faith is built up. So can I ask the question again? Can a Christian use his prayer language too much, sadly YES if he does not equally use the vernacular (the language he uses in conversation with others) as much in his daily communion with the Lord., But can he and should he regularly and daily use his prayer language to edify himself and the answer must be YES, YES, YES.

Another area that we can indirectly edify ourselves is using our prayer language in Intercession, almost daily there are situations that arise and matters to pray about that we simply do not know how to pray effectively, and this can leave us very frustrated. Paul expresses it so well in Romans 8: 26-27 NKJV Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. The Amplified says So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.

When we Pray in tongues we are praying in the will of God, that sure deals with the frustration.

I could list numerous other reasons why the Believer must regularly (daily) use his prayer language and as Preachers need to remind Believers about the Gospel so we can get slack and lazy. May we be like Charles Wesley and say O for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer’s praise. AMEN

I have stated twice recently “I am not a Prophet or the son of a Prophet”, but some of the things the Lord has been laying on my heart is the same message that numerous others here in Australia and around the world are saying, this is very humbling, and I thank the Lord, I am hearing Him speak to me on these important issues, like the Church preparing herself as a chaste Bride for the soon returning Bridegroom, and today I see numerous references to something else that I carry on my heart and that is MENTORING. This blog will simply be a set of questions to assist me in some developing research I am doing on the topic as well as Biblical Discipleship. I trust you will assist me with your thoughts and answers. If you would like to email me my address is

  1. What is your definition of Discipleship?
  2. Have you been discipled in the past or are currently being discipled?
  3. What do you think are the essential aspects, ingredients and requirements in the discipleship process.
  4. What is your definition of Mentoring?
  5. Have you been previously or currently being Mentored.
  6. What do you think are the essential aspects, ingredients and requirements in the mentoring process?

Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.

The theme in our local church this year is GROWTH, and I have the privilege of preaching about once a month. Last Sunday I was assigned the letter T in the acrostic for growth, and given the word TRUSTING, and encouraged to emphasise in my preaching TRUSTING ALL THE TIME. Solomon the wisest man in all the Lord challenges us Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5 NKJV. Interestingly he mentions our “understanding” as I guess our mind gets in the way so often and we find it almost impossible to trust as we respond to what we see with our natural eyes and what we hear with our natural ears. It sure is not easy to trust the Lord all the time. We need to hold closely the words of Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

What do we need to do to trust the Lord

  1. Surrender (Not my will but Thine be done)

2. Reject what we seen and hear naturally and believe God’s Word.

3. Be patient, God’s timing can be so different to ours.

4. When all else fails read the instructions.

Billy Graham is quotes as saying, “From one end of the Bible to the other, God assures us that He will never go back on His promises”.

Martin Lloyd Jones states ” God is eternal, God is immutable, God is everlasting, God never changes His purpose, there is no greater comfort or consolation than this”.

I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18 NKJV This is where many Christians trust God passively. They say Ho Hum Jesus will do it, I will leave it up to Him. But Jesus goes on to say in verse 17 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

JESUS WANTS TO GIVE US A SET OF KEYS, what are these keys, we can search the Gospels and not find any direct teaching on these keys, but I am sure Jesus taught His disciples what they were. If ever there was a time the Church needed the keys it was when persecution broke out in Jerusalem in Acts 4. After Peter and John were released by the religious leaders they immediately went and gave a brief report to their fellow believers. I want to suggest we find a number of KEYS IN VERSES 24-31.NKJV So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:
Why did the nations rage,
And the people plot vain things?
The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the Lord and against His Christ.’
“For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

  1. POWERFUL PRAYER verses 24-30
  2. THEY PRAYED THE WORD OF GOD verses 25-26
  4. THEY PRAYED FOR SIGNS & WONDERS, (the greatest sign is people being born again)
  6. THEY NEEDED TO MAINTAIN THE SPIRIT FILLED LIFE (same Believers as in Acts 2:4) Paul tell us we must continually be filled with the Spirit Eph 5:18 NKJV be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of the Lord.

I am not suggesting these are the only Keys of the Kingdom, but if we would get them by revelation into our hearts and begin to use them like never before, WE ARE SURELY PROACTIVELY TRUSTING THE LORD AND WORKING WITH HIM TO BUILD HIS CHURCH.

I felt the Lord put on my heart at the beginning of the year that 2019 was going to be a year where the Bride of Christ (The Church) was going to proactively prepare herself for the soon coming Bridegroom. This includes Repentance and Revival amongst Believers and this change would produce an awesome ingathering of new souls into the Kingdom of God as the Church made a fresh commitment to fulfil the Great Commission. I have received reports from various areas here in Australia and around the world that this is happening. I have already mentioned Hillsong church’s theme REVIVAL IS IN THE AIR, with the same thrust that I have expressed here. I feel we also need to pray for the Church around the world that is not yet responding to this calling and drawing of the Holy Spirit. The Prophet I have mentioned a few times recently has highlighted some of the dangers facing the 21st century church, I am going to list them here, as the enemy is working overtime at deceiving Believers by compromising truth, there are numerous things I see that appear on the surface to be ok but in reality is far from the truth.

It is the Holy Spirit that convicts the unbeliever and gives him the ability to respond. We are not told to tell sinners to “try Jesus” or come down the front, and “pray a prayer” and now you are saved. Sadly, there are many sitting in our churches that have never experienced the life changing experience of being born again.

Worship in so many churches has become a spectator “sport” while people on the platform “perform”. We must come back to corporate Holy Spirit worship, and see the “cloud descend”.

Oh how easy it is to compromise truth as we don’t want to be called “old fashioned” let us take a strong but loving stand against anything that would compromise the truth of the Word of God.

Sadly, it is “popular” (in most places) to be a Charismatic these days, but there is a constant major cost if we are to live daily the Spirit filled life (Eph. 5:18). I recently joined an A/G Ministers Forum on FB, (it seems to be primarily American. One of the first questions I read fro discussion was : is speaking in tongues important anymore? I was shocked that such a question could even be asked. Having an using our prayer language is as important today as it was on the Day of Pentecost. We must daily edify ourselves as Paul admonishes us in 1 Cor. 14:4. there will always be times when we know not how to pray but can use our prayer language Rom 8:26.

Sadly, many Christians do not seem to be very disturbed by the mass murder of unborn babies every day around the world !!!!

He goes on with many other areas that are becoming obvious dangers to the 21st Century church. Paul writing to the Church in Rome tells us that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation (Christ’s return) is nearer than when we first believed. Romans 13:11NKJV.

Let us pray the EVERY BELIEVER EVERYWHERE will wake up and prepare for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen

I was asked by a College classmate who I studies with over 50 years ago, would I write a blog on Revelation 1:10 NKJV I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day. We know John was living on the island of Patmos. He was one of the original 12 Disciples, he had been a fisherman and was called to follow Jesus whilst plying his nets. he was one of the three closest to Jesus (which included James & Peter). He describes himself as one whom Jesus loved, and sat next to Jesus at the Last Supper, (and laid his head on Christ’s chest), at the crucifixion he was given the responsibility to care for Mary the mother of Jesus. I believe he is the only disciple who wasn’t martyred. He wrote the Gospel of John and three Epistles as well as the Book of Revelation.

I would like to believe there was Christian Assembly on the island, and John was either on his way to worship and fellowship or had been already to church when he makes this statement. I will make one additional point here, under the New Covenant EVERY DAY IS THE LORD’S DAY, so I believe what it means to be “in the Spirit on the Lord’s day” is the same EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK.

I am reminded of a song we used to sing that carries an important key, “WE BRING THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. This suggests to me that there was time given to heart preparation early in the day alone with the Lord. John would have made sure of certain things in his life.

There was no unforgiven sin in his life

He had reaffirmed the Lordship of Jesus over his life (Rom.12:1)

He entered into God’s presence with Praise, Thanksgiving & Worship.

He would have spent time in Intercession

If he had access to Biblical writings he would have read and meditated on them, and I am sure received a fresh Rhema Word to his spirit that day.

I am sure he also regularly and constantly used his prayer language (speaking in tongues).

Generations ago Christians would all start their preparations for church on Saturday night, all would have a bath, and their Sunday clothes were all laid out ready to put on for church the next day. This may not be so necessary today, but the principle of preparation is more important than ever, we need to arise early enough on Sunday morning to prepare our hearts in prayer and in the Word, so that the moment we enter the church and the service begins we are immediately entering in and worshipping the Lord, and when the preaching begins our spiritual hearing is always ready to hear what the Holy Spirit wants to say to us.

These principles must be built into the life of the new Believer through Biblical Discipleship, remember my definition, “we must walk with the new Believer for however long it takes until living as a Christian is a LIFESTYLE”, including learning to “live in the Spirit”.
