I will never forget the vision God put in my heart at the airport at Hyderabad in January 1985 thirty three and a half years ago at the times of writing, that Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth. The Word of God proclaims it, and it is wonderful when it comes as a Rhema Word to your heart.

As my Missions Ministry has been predominantly in Asia, and the difficulty of one’s mind taking in every nation of the world, my dream and vision relates very much to East Asia  and the many ministries I have  for years connected with and  continue  to relate  and pray for too right up until this very day.

Many Australians look with fear at China because of it’s massive growth and  economic develop, and now its encroachment into the South China Sea, and the associated islands. This does not concern me much, but I do look at the fast growing church in that nation, statistics would suggest the church there will be greater than the U.S.A. soon, and therefore the largest Christian Church in the world. I took a train out of Hong Kong one day, and went to a nearby Economic Zone in China, just to simply be able to say I have entered China.

I am praying that the Church in China which has so grown because of prayer and persecution will not only have a vision of “Back to Jerusalem” but will give serious thought to its three “daughters” Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan and believe that the “River of revival” will flow into these Islands and onto the rest of East Asia.

Again you will have read of my experience in Northern Thailand as I looked into Myanmar and the burden that came for  that nation plus the burden that dramatically increased on my return home for the three Indo China nations of Laos, Cambodia & Vietnam. I see by  faith and  in the Spirit a river beginning to flow from China, and touching these four nations so crippled for many hundreds of years by Buddhism and Communistic type governments. There are regular reports of increased blessing in these for nations, may it continue.

I am in regular contact with Ministries in all these four nations, and even in Laos and Vietnam which is officially closed to Missions there is an increasing tide of blessing.

Right in the north of Thailand in Chiang Mei I have a spiritual son, who is building a great work for God, (in the North of Thailand almost 1% are Christian, only half % in the rest of the nation, I see the river flowing, and God using His servants  (again some dear friends I pray daily for) in Bangkok, and onto Pattaya & Phuket and into the South where there are growing churches (despite the additional problem of Muslims in this area). If the once Buddhist nation of South Korea which is now at least 50% Christian can see revival, so can Thailand, and millions of blind Thai eyes are going to be opened to Jesus as the Son of God and Saviour of mankind.

I see the river flowing into Malaysia, another dear brother I pray for daily lives in Sitiawan in the North  is building a great work for God. There has been tremendous answers to prayer in this nation. One political party has held sway since independence were defeated after much concentrated prayer,(over a number of years including 24 hour prayer meetings) and the positive signs for the Church and the nation are  exciting and encouraging. I see the river flowing down to Kuala Lumpur/Petayling Jaya where many dear friends are serving the Lord and believing for revival. Then onto Seramban and Melaka where I again have some very dear friends who are building great churches for the Lord. Then onto Singapore (the Antioch of Asia) our second home, there are a number of brothers I am praying for daily who are longing to plunge into the river.

Then the river is flowing and increasing in the nation of Indonesia, and many Javanese & Sumatrans and Chinese and every other ethnic group are coming to Christ. Indonesia may have the largest Muslim population within its borders, but the nation’s constitution gives perfect liberty to every Christian group and the signs are everywhere of the blessing and increase of the Lord upon the nation.

Then onto the largest Island nation in the world AUSTRALIA,it was prophesied by Smith Wigglesworth that we would be the last nation to see revival. It isn’t apparent yet, but I see it in the Spirit, the river of revival will flow across our great nation. Australia is virtually the uttermost parts of the world from Jerusalem, but it will happen, I trust I will be alive to see it and be a part of it. If that is not in the Lord’s plan then I will every day until my dying breath be praying and declaring  this last day outpouring that will cause millions of Australians to bow the knee and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord Amen

The Apostle Paul tells us in  his letter to the Ephesian Church that we have ACCESS  into the presence of God because of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:18 NKJV For through Him  Christ) we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

Ephesians 3:12 NKJV in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him (Christ).

The book of Hebrews writer  4:16 NKJV tells us Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Our sin had alienated us from God, but now because of  Jesus becoming our saviour and Lord we have ACCESS into the very throne room of God.

Being born again also gives us access to all that is available to us for us to live victorious holy lives. Let me list some of these things.

  • THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD Ephesians 6:10-18, Paul tells us if we recognise which piece of armour we need, PUT IT ON and learn how to use it we are able to stand against all the wiles and tricks of the devil.
  • 1. The blood of Jesus Christ 1 John 1:7  NKJV But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
  • 2. The Word of God Ephesians 5:26 NKJV  that He might sanctify and cleanse her (the Church)with the washing of water by the word (Rhema)
  • The Holy Spirit Matthew 3:11 NKJV I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  Fire to burn purge and purify.
  • THE PROPHET’S CHAMBER 2 Kings 4:10 NKJV Please, let us make a small upper room on the wall; and let us put a bed for him there, and a table and a chair and a lampstand; so it will be, whenever he comes to us, he can turn in there.”

Remember Augustine’s words, The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed, and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed.  Now let us pass the verse through the cross and apply New Covenant Principles to it. There is a:

  • A BED  a place of rest to revive us.

Hebrews 4:9 NKJV  There remains  therefore a rest for the people of God.

Matthew 11:28-29 NKJV Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Mark 6:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

just as our phone needs charging so do we.

A TABLE A place of provision to refresh you.

Psalm 92:14 NKJV They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh (fat and flourishing

Philippians 4:19 NKJV  And my God shall your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Psalm 23 Green pastures, Still Waters, Paths of righteousness, Rod & Staff, Banqueting Table, Anointing

Matthew 5:6 MESSAGE You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.

Psalm 81:16 NKJV He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat;
And with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you.”

  • A CHAIR  A place of meditation to restore you.

Joshua 1:8 NKJV This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 119:15 NKJV I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate your ways.

  • A LAMP For illumination and revelation

Psalm 119 105 NKJV Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

King David knew he had access Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have ALL that I need.

The Apostle Peter knew He had access, 2 Peter 1:3 NKJV God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.

We do not have an excuse, we can live a holy life,

My most recent blog is part of the sermon for this Sunday morning coming, the 2nd part I will post early next week. It dawned upon me once again as I was preparing the sermon that unless a person is Biblically Discipled he will remain ignorant of all that is available to him to walk the Christian life. So many young believers get discouraged and disillusioned when they continue to live a defeated life (and sadly some even walk away).  Many of my friends agree with me that Discipleship is both BIBLICAL & ESSENTIAL yet it doesn’t seem to be happening. I ask the question WHY?

I am not a demon chaser as my readers would clearly know if they have read the many hundreds of blogs I have written, but is it the deception of the evil one not to Biblically Disciple? Many people  see the need and come up with lots of ideas, which generally mean a “class” of some kind but no “one on one” “face to face” sharing, nor a long term commitment to see it through so that the new Believer comes to maturity, my experience is this takes six to nine months, and often will then develop into a Mentoring experience, as the Believer begins to evidence giftings and graces  upon his life, and real leadership potential, or at least the ability to become a Disciplemaker.

The sad reality is that many Leaders have never been personally Discipled, and therefore don’t know how to do it. or have the attitude, “I battled through so can you”. I was never discipled, and have many regrets and scars to confirm it. My concern and burden is for every young Believer and for every local church, that we do it the right way. I read this statement by John Wesley this week:

There is no doubt that we are living in the last days, and Jesus will soon break through the clouds, and Paul tells us Jesus is coming for a SPECIAL CHURCH  in Ephesians 5:27 All that he does in us is designed to make us a mature church for his pleasure, until we become a source of praise to him—glorious and radiant, beautiful and holy, without fault or flaw  Passion Bible.

that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish  NKLV

Just as Jesus said “I will build my Church” and He does this through His people, so much of what needs to be accomplished in the new Believer’s life again He does this through His people who must learn to BIBLICALLY DISCIPLE.

Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Passion Bible  Matthew 28:18

Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Message Bible

I thank God for The Navigators ministry, and Youth with a Mission, but they were raised up because the local church was not obeying the Great Commission, let’s do it right amen.

Will my readers hear the cry and the passion of my heart. If the above witnesses with your heart and you want to do something about, please write to me and let me share with you some very important principles.

By his divine power, God has given us EVERYTHING WE NEED for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence NLT 2 Peter 1:3

I have highlighted those three words as it spells out to us all that is available to us  through this glorious Salvation we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. When we know what we have, then we surely do not have a single excuse not to be able to live a godly life.

Unless a person is Biblically Discipled it could take many months if not years before he really knows what has been made available to him, and during this time, sadly there will be times of defeat and disappointment  and discouragement, and when many give up and backslide. I sincerely believe that from day one of a new Believer’s Christian life he can begin to grow and move towards maturity, if a Discipler will come alongside him and walk with him. THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE IDEAL BUT THE NORMwhen are we going to start doing it God’s way??????

  • THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD  Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.  The Message is worth looking at too:And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

(a) We need to quickly learn which piece of armour is needed

(b) PUT it on

(c) Learn how to use it.

  • God has given us THREE CLEANSING AGENTS

(a) The Blood of Jesus to cleanse us  1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. NKJV

(b) The Word of God  Ephesians 5:26  to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word (rhema) NLT

(c) The Holy Spirit    I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire NKJV

Fire to purify and sanctify.

Then God has prepared a special room WITH FOUR PIECES OF FURNITURE FOR US

Oh that God’s people would understand what the Whole Armour of God is and learn to put it on and use it, Oh that God’s people fully appreciated God’s cleansing agents and let them work more and more in us.

Please meditate on the above, feel free to message me, and ask me more.

We will look at the special room in our next blog.

The Lord directed me to Hosea 6:6 recently, and the prophet’s words really challenged me  and spoke to my heart, and I will print out a number of translations, and make some comments.

For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offeringNKJV

I’m after love that lasts, not more religion. I want you to know God, not go to more prayer meetingsMESSAGE

For I desire and delight in dutiful steadfast love and goodness, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of and acquaintance with God more than burnt offerings. AMP

I remember as a teenager starting to realise that GOD SEES IN THE DARK, it shook me up, but didn’t really stop me sinning. I have come to see more and more as I grow older that God not only sees in the dark, but sees the inner recesses of our heart. Every day I ask the Lord to check out my MOTIVES AND ATTITUDES, other people may think our motivations are pure, but only God truly knows why we do and say things.

Hosea challenges God’s people about being stinkingly religious but not really loving and serving the Lord. For many it was easy to procure an animal and sacrifice it,  but they were just going through the motions and doing what was  the accepted thing. They and others may feel they were pleasing God, but it was a waste of time, as God saw into their heart.

  1. A steadfast lasting (constant) love for Him
  2. A genuine relationship with God not just an occasional connection

There is something in human nature that somehow thinks if they do “stuff” like under the Old Covenant offer animal sacrifices, that they are pleasing God.

Under the New Covenant the Message Bible says just because you go to prayer meetings it can simple be works that will not please God. wow!!!!!

The Scriptures are replete with prayers about asking God to SEARCH OUR HEARTSand speaking personally something I have to pray often, because of the depravity of my heart, and so  for me to easily let my heart fool me.

Of course we must be busy wisely loving and serving the Lord, but ever keep checking out our heart.

I have written the above not to condemn you, but to challenge and encourage you, to love and serve the Lord with a pure heart.

AN UPDATE 8/10/2018

I am assuming because of the privacy issues that seem to becoming more of a problem WordPress has  decided to limit  the amount of exposure of a person’s blogs through other forms of social media. I so enjoyed seeing my blogs on my Facebook page for example, but this ceased some time ago. I understand there is a way for me to get my blogs back on there, but neither I or my Blogmaster has been success so far.

What I have found very interesting is the fact despite the lack of exposure of my blogs, that more people from more countries are viewing them, I recently looked at my statistics and was blown away at the  number of people from so many countries  that are seeing my blogs. I would love to know how this has happened. I list the countries that my statistics tell me I am being viewed, if you are from one of the countries, would you like to subscribe to my blogs and communicate with me, and share your comments and observations with me please? I would love to get to know you better.

Ireland           Spain          Russia           Singapore              Japan        Canada         Tanzania   Australia        Nigeria      Seychelles    U.S.                         Trinidad & Tobago        E.U

South Africa   Ghana      P.N.G.             Hong Kong            Italy            Philippines  Indonesia

Malaysia         India        Kenya             U.K.                        Finland        Russia

I am personally overwhelmed at the response, and the number of countries that my blogs are being seen, and I sure give God all the praise and all the glory for this, as I can travel so little these days, and I believe God has given me this awesome form of ministry to communicate truth.

If you can help me get back on other social medium platforms I would sure appreciate your help, and if you would like to communicate with me either through WP or WhatsApp +61417458230 or email at I would sure love to hear from you.

Intercession is the other area of ministry the Lord has given me in my “retirement” and if you would like to share prayer requests and praise notes with me again I would love to hear  from you, and commit to praying for and with you.

I am still preaching as the opportunity arises, and am sharing the Word 4 times over the next 6+ weeks.

I continue to carry a constant burden to Disciple and Mentor, and this still continues to happen praise the Lord.

I posted on Facebook yesterday these words:

Let me give you some back ground, we have lived in this town for some nine and a half years, although no longer in a formal Pastoral Ministry role I was asked to join the weekly Ministers Fellowship, which is made up of all Evangelical (but not Pentecostal Ministers). It is an excellent fellowship meeting, I am fully accepted by them, even though I am unashamedly Pentecostal (but I trust they believe my Theology is balanced).A local Pentecostal Pastor (who did not attend the Ministers Fellowship) asked me if I would Mentor his Leaders, which I did for quite some time, he also felt to start a local Bible School and I was the main teacher, both these activities continued until I had some health issues and had to conclude. This Pastor is now retired, but we still meet for coffee and fellowship. This ministry concluded probably 5 years ago.

His successor (out of the blue, or was it God?) phoned about 2 months ago, and asked me to speak at their Monthly Leaders Meeting, and around the same  time the local Presbyterian Minister called me and asked if I would speak at his monthly  Sunday evening service. This blew me away as Pentecostal Ministers do NOT often speak in Presbyterian churches. I am sure after all the years of meeting weekly he had assessed my overall Theology and ethics.

Both the Sunday night service and the Leaders Meeting went very well, I was very conscious of the Lord’s blessing and anointing as I ministered. A young man (39) sat next to me in the Leaders Meeting, I had mentored him previously, at the end of the meeting he asked me if we could start meeting again, as my ministry to him had effected and impacted him so much, he wanted to start again, he has another friend a Leader who could want to start meeting with me too,

Our Pastor’s wife has to undergo surgery in the next short while, and I will be preaching 4 times in about 6 weeks. Is all the above coincidental?? I don’t believe so,  my readers know that Biblical Discipleship and Mentoring are the constant burden on my heart, and although I can do some through my Blogging Ministry, the ideal is FACE TO FACE.

I did nothing to engineer the above, but sincerely believe the Lord has brought it all to pass. You know I celebrated my 77th birthday last month, and my physical strength is lessening, but God has not finished with me yet, so with the Blogging and Intercessory Ministry, the Lord is keeping me busy Praise the Lord.

I ask for your prayer support, that the Mentoring and Preaching will impact and bless many for the glory of God and the extension of the Kingdom of God Amen.

St. Augustine reminds us that “The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed, and the Old Testament is in the Old Testament revealed”. I was reminded of this as I began to read the Book of Haggai today. My Mentor expresses it this way, that we often need to pass what we read in the Old Testament through the Cross and apply New Covenant Truth to the passage we are reading and the Holy Spirit will Turn the light on.

The Prophet complains that God’s people are enjoying their lavish homes but the House of God “lies in ruins”, and the message is that God’s people need to:

As I apply the principle stated in the first paragraph, the challenge to me is that we are so busy doing our own thing, either ignorantly or deliberately disregarding God’s Word and  not building God’s House that is our life.

Am I, are you willing to ask yourself do I need to consider my ways?

Am I walking in my inheritance as Believer?

Am I walking in victory, purity and power?

Am I “seeking first the Kingdom of God (rule of God) and His righteousness Matthew 6:33?

Am I daily and constantly surrendering myself to the Lord?

These opening verses in Haggai has challenged me, and I want to reassess if I am “Building my life according to the pattern of the Word of God.

Lord help me to live in the light and hope of your soon return, The passion translation says of 1 john 3:3 And all who focus their hope on him will always be purifying themselves, just as Jesus is pure. AMEN

Nine days ago, I requested prayer for both of us, as we were feeling so unwell from our recent Ministry trip to Indonesia. I write to express our sincere thanks for your prayer support. I required antibiotics, and both of us used much cough medicine, but we are now feeling much improved. I wish I could write and report it was an instant healing, but each day is MUCH better than the day before. We sure have no regrets  relating to our decision to go and teach in the Bible School, it was an unforgettable experience, and am humbled that the Lord used us so much in the week we were there. Thank you again.

I am preaching next Sunday evening at the local Presbyterian church, then on Monday night, at a Leaders Meeting at a local Pentecostal church, please pray the Lord uses the ministry to bless and encourage many people.

I can sincerely say, whenever I write a blog it is because, the Lord has been speaking to me personally (or dealing with me) or I see a need that I feel I can speak into, or some other genuine reason, I sure don’t blog for blogging sake.

I seem to meet a lot of Christians who seem to be more devil conscious than Jesus conscious, and whenever a negative situation or circumstance arises, or a person says or does something that upsets them, they immediately start binding the devil and taking “authority” over the matter. Is this a product of some of the teaching and preaching that is about today that if your Christian life is not a “bed of roses” then the “enemy” is trying to attack you!!!! This behaviour causes many Christians to react and go in the opposite direction, and not even mention the devil.

We all know Romans 8:28 very well NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose  The MESSAGE expresses it this way That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. So God who is all seeing and all knowing, is not surprised by the often negative situations that arise in a person’s life, but He seeks to use them for our spiritual good, how can we ever grow spiritually unless we learn to make use of all the keys God has made available to us through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and learn to RESPOND  biblically to these situations.

Of course, the enemy will seek at times to use these negative situations and will also create his own situations.

This is where Biblical Discipleship again is so essential, where a Mentor can assist you to recognise what is a “natural/normal” situation or is or has become an attack of the evil one. The Bible tells us that  we must Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV, but the reality is, he is a toothless lion, having lost all his authority when Jesus died on the Cross, but either because of our ignorance, or he trying to take authority that is not his to take Christians can be overtaken.  There is so much in the Word of God regarding what is now available to us so that we can deal with EVERY attack of the evil one, this is so clearly spelt out in Paul’s teaching on the whole armour of God in Ephesians 6:10-18, may this teaching become a Rhema word to every Believer.

A truth, a practical essential  key that has assisted me, and blest me so much is found in James 4:7 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. The Message says: So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Let us unpack this verse I think there are THREE KEY WORDS.

1.SUBMISSION & SURRENDER (continuous) is the essential key to an ongoing victorious life,  Jesus MUST  be Lord, over our spirit, soul and body 1 Thess.5:23 NKJV Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.   The quicker we learn this truth, and live the surrendered life, the more we will know His blessing upon us.

2.RESIST the devil. How do we do it? The three things I use are:

The authority I have IN THE NAME OF JESUS, to tell him to go.

I take the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, the Rhema Word of God , and speak out God’s Word to him, like 1John 4:4 NKJV He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

I confess that the BLOOD OF JESUS is over my life to cleanse and protect me.

The devil hates these things, so what MUST he do

FLEE, SCAMPER, RUN AWAY, not perhaps or maybe HE HAS GOT TO GO, The Word of God says it, I claim it and believe it, because God is ALWAYS TRUE TO HIS NAME, HIS NATURE AND HIS PROMISES, it must happen EVERY  time he comes to tempt us.

I trust the above may help you. we don’t have to put up with the enemy hanging around, he must GO.

I would appreciate feedback and comments please ?

I guess it is nearly a year ago that I began to seriously pray about concluding my overseas Teaching Ministry, I felt that physically it was becoming a challenge. When I made the decision the Lord wonderfully led me into Intercessory Ministry, so I can still visit so many places in prayer every day.  Then recently I was requested to teach (at least one more time) in Indonesia. After prayer I believe the Lord clearly gave me the “green light” to go.

I have been teaching in this Short Term Bible School since 2001 based in a local church in Java, the church had grown to 20000, sadly the Pastor recently had a massive heart attack and went to be with the Lord. His death produced many changes but the School continues in another venue. It grew to over 300 students previously, this year there were 25 full time and 10 part time students. Each Day teaching is 9-12 and 7-9pm, with 30 minutes of praise and worship preceding  the class time. So the presence of God is wonderfully manifest even before the teaching commences, plus I had literally 100’s of people around the world praying for me, so the anointing was truly awesome as I ministered (and it lingered and on me throughout the day as I rested).

In many ways it is actually a Discipleship School, and as my ministry particularly is all about “laying strong and deep foundations” I always feel so at home here, plus the hunger of the students was so apparent. For the first 3 days I major on a Believer’s relationship with the Lord covering such areas as:

  • The eight essential ingredients to daily prayer, the 8th being listening, to hear God’s voice, as we can receive a Rhema word every day. From the 2nd day I get the students to share what they have received.
  • The eight keys to protecting the mind, then we spend time praying and breaking “strongholds” over the students minds
  • I also do a teaching from Leviticus 21:16-24 on those things that can  “disqualify” us from ministry.
  • The last two days I then teach on Leadership Principles.

The response from the students was the best I had seen in all the years I have taught there (perhaps it was because the class was so much smaller) but the breakthroughs, and blessings was beyond my wildest dreams.

I want to share just one testimony of a young man  (in his 20’s) in the class, who clearly had some major emotional and possibly mental problems. His family had pleaded with the Director to let him come to the School. During the 30 minutes of Praise & Worship, he would stand with his head lowered and would not enter in at all.  I felt led to pray for him, there was initially no evident change, but the next morning during the time the students share their Rhema words, he jumped up and shared for three minutes, Praise the Lord, the healing had begun. Since returning home, I have received a video from the Director  with this young man with a microphone in his hand singing praises to the Lord,  WHAT A MIGHY GOD WE SERVE, AND TO HIM BE ALL THE GLORY.

On  the Friday at 12pm as I closed the class the students broke out singing “Happy birthday to you” and a cake was brought out (I turned 77 the following day). I really fell in love with these great students (and not because of the cake).

On the Saturday evening I spoke at the Youth Meeting (100’s in attendance) and again at the end another cake was brought out and again they sang “Happy birthday”).

Unfortunately, physically we both found the going rough, Margaret initially getting a tummy bug, and then a nasty cough and cold, I just got very exhausted, then when I got home I contacted a nasty but very different cough and cold to Margaret, I am currently on a course of antibiotics, and just today have started to feel “half normal”.

We then had 4 days of R&R in Singapore on the way home, catching up with many friends, which was good,
